Scottish Piper's Plaid / Long Plaid - Dress Gordon

A sophisticated formal plaid. A piper's plaid (long plaid) is the long, pleated plaid worn over the left shoulder and down the back, secured with a plaid brooch.

This one is in Dress Gordon tartan - the dress version of the famous Gordon clan tartan. White and black base with navy blue and bright yellow overchecks. Lighter and more formal than the dark Gordon Modern, it is extremely popular for weddings, formal events, and Highland dancers.

This is the LONG piper version, not the small fly plaid - gathered and stitched at the top for perfect shoulder pleats.
