The formal finishing piece for pipers and Highland dress. A piper's plaid (long plaid) is the long, pleated plaid worn over the left shoulder, draped down the back and pinned with a plaid brooch.

This one is made in Campbell of Breadalbane tartan - a distinctive dark navy / black ground with bright yellow and green overchecks. A popular Campbell variant worn by pipe bands worldwide for its high visibility and elegant dark look.

This is the LONG version, not the small fly plaid. Gathered and stitched at the top to create beautiful shoulder pleating.
