Firefighters Drum Major Baldric Sash - Fire Department Pipe Band - The Firefighters Drum Major Baldric Sash is the ceremonial cross-belt worn by the Drum Major of a Fire Department Pipe Band / Pipes & Drums. Worn from the left shoulder to the right hip, it is designed to carry the Drum Major's mace and to display the pride, heritage and honour of the Fire Service on parade, funerals, memorials and graduations.

This is the equivalent of the British Army Drum Major's baldric, adapted for the Fire Service, and is now standard for FDNY, LAFD, London Fire Brigade, Scottish Fire & Rescue, and hundreds of Fire Department Pipe Bands worldwide.
