Silver Head with Gold Crown Lion - Why This Spec:

This is Two-Tone Silver & Gold Royal Mace - Very Popular Order:

Nickel Plated Trumpet Head = Silver Base - Nickel plated / chrome is silver color - for most pipe bands - cheaper than full gold plated - looks professional - silver mace is standard for many regiments

Gold Color Crown & Rampant Lion = Gold Top Accent - Gold crown & lion on silver head = two-tone contrast - highlights royal crest - crown & lion stand out in gold - looks royal & expensive - for Royal Regiments, Scots Guards, Black Watch, Royal Highlanders - gold crown lion shows royalty - silver head shows regiment

Reverse of Previous Gold Mace: Previous spec was Gold Head + Gold Chain/Ferrules + Nickel Black Watch Badges - Full gold mace with silver badges - This spec is Silver Head + Silver Chain/Ferrules + Gold Crown Lion - Full silver mace with gold crown lion - Opposite two-tone - Both are premium - Customer can choose

Malacca Cane + Nickel = Senior but Not Officer Gold - Malacca cane is senior - nickel is for senior Drum Major but not officer gold - gold crown lion adds officer touch on top - balanced cost - looks premium but cheaper than full gold plated

Difference Between Variants:

Full Gold Plated Mace: Gold chain + gold ferrules + gold head + gold crown lion + nickel Black Watch badges - Most expensive - For officers / senior regiments

This Silver & Gold Mace: Nickel chain + nickel ferrules + nickel head + gold crown lion - Silver base with gold top - Two tone - Mid-premium - Popular - Looks royal with cost saving - As per spec
