Scottish Drummer Plaid - Mackenzie Tartan

Traditional drummer's plaid, also called a shoulder plaid - the long narrow plaid worn by drummers in pipe bands, draped over the shoulder and hanging front and back.

This one is made in Mackenzie tartan - deep forest green ground with red, white, black and blue lines. Clan Mackenzie is one of the most famous Highland clans. The tartan is dark and elegant, very popular for pipe bands.

Unlike the fly plaid which is a 54" square, the drummer plaid is a long shoulder sash.
