The Royal Highlanders - Black Watch - Deluxe Trumpet Shape Drum Major Mace Head - The ultimate symbol of Highland authority. This is our Deluxe Trumpet Shape Engraved Head made to the exact pattern of The Royal Highlanders (The Black Watch) - the most respected and recognizable Drum Major mace in the Commonwealth.

Unlike the standard ball-type top, this is the Traditional Trumpet / Bell Shape Head, wider at the top and tapering down, giving it a more commanding and imposing presence when carried by the Drum Major.

Craftsmanship Details - As Per Your Specification:

1. Trumpet Shape Body:

Distinctive bell-shaped design, forged from solid brass. This shape provides a larger surface area for deep, intricate hand-engraving and makes the mace visible from a long distance on the parade field.

2. Crown and Rampant Lion Top:

Surmounted by the magnificent King's Crown with the Rampant Lion standing atop. The Lion is fully 3D sculpted with detailed mane and raised paw, representing courage and royalty. This is the correct King's Crown (KC) pattern for current issue.

3. Fully Engraved Head:

This is the premium Engraved Version. The entire surface is hand-chased:

Dome: Globe pattern with cross-hatching and laurel border

Middle Band: Wide, highly polished mirror band

Lower Flare: Deep thistle, rose, and oak leaf scrollwork

4. The Black Watch Crest Badge:

Mounted prominently on the front is the famous Black Watch Crest - The Star of the Order of the Thistle.
