This Desert Tan Balmoral Hat is the traditional Scottish Balmoral Bonnet, also called the Kilmarnock Bonnet. It is the round, soft version of Highland headwear, different from the boat-shaped Glengarry.

This is the authentic Scottish Balmoral Bonnet worn by Scottish Highland Regiments, Royal Regiment of Scotland, Army Cadets, Highland Dancers, and Pipe Band members when not wearing a Glengarry. The Black with Red Toorie is the most popular and traditional color combination - standard issue for many regiments.

The Balmoral is flatter and wider, giving a more traditional civilian Highland look.
